El delta del Mekong

Os presento en imágenes mi último viaje por el río Mekong. La excursión fluvial la comencé en solitario en tierras camboyanas, en un pueblo llamado Neak Luong situado a escasos kilómetros de la capital camboyana, Phnom Penh, desde donde descendí siguiendo el curso del río hasta alcanzar el Delta, ya en territorio vietnamita. Un viaje que muestra la vital importancia que este río tiene en la sociedades rurales de la zona. Viven literalemente de lo que les da el río. Simple y acuáticamente.

This is a photo-presentation of my last journey through the Mekong River. I started the river trip in Cambodia alone, in a village called Neak Luong located a few kilometers away from the Cambodian capital city, Phnom Penh, from where I descended along the river to reach the Delta, already in Vietnamese territory. A journey that shows the vital importance of this river for the rural societies within the area. They live literally with what is given by the river. Simply and aquaticly.
