Una extraña sensación

David Lynch es de ese tipo de genios que a través de sus películas ha conseguido no dejar a nadie indiferente. Me refiero a aquellos que se han detenido a disfrutar de alguna de sus películas, no a intentar comprenderlas.

Para afirmar que no está muy bien de la cabeza creo que no hace falta ser neurólogo, ni tan siquiera médico de familia. Sí que es verdad que en cierta manera, esa preparación nos ayudaría a comprender que carajo se le pasa por la cabeza diariamente, qué piensa cuando no piensa, y cuando no piensa, qué es lo que olvida.

Sus películas suelen ser incompresiblemente comprensibles, o lo que es exactamente lo mismo pero justamente lo contrario, comprensiblemente incomprensibles. Sean como fueren, sinceramente, a mí me siguen atrapando, y lo que puede ser algo más discutible, me siguen agradando.

Ayer durante mi viaje rumbo a su "imperio de tierra adentro", nuevamente, nada parecía tener sentido, pero una vez más, y es aquí donde creo radica su magia, con el paso de los minutos, esos sinsentidos se volvían más razonables, incluso en algunos instantes, me atrevería a afirmar que se volvían del todo comprensibles.

David Lynch is one of this kind of genius that through all his filmography, he has never left anybody with indifference. I refer to the ones that have decided to enjoy some of his movies, without trying to understand them.

To state that he is a mental case, there is no need to be a neurologist, not even a family doctor. What is completely true is that, perhaps, this formal education could be helpful to understand what comes through his mind daily, what he thinks when he doesn´t think, and when he doesn´t think, what forgets.

Normally his movies are incomprehensibly comprehensible, or what is exactly the same but just the opposite, comprehensibly incomprehensible. Anyway, to be honest, they hook me up, and what it´s more arguable, I like being pleased to them.

Yesterday, during my trip to "inland empire", nothing seemed to have sense, but once again, and it´s in here where his magic lies in, in the course of the time, that meaningless became more reasonable, even sometimes I´d dare to say it became comprehensible.
