Velocidad

Mientras en España hoy en día se vive la fiebre del automovilismo, en especial la de la Fórmula 1, estrenándose nuevos circuitos tanto para bólidos grandes como para otros más pequeños, en Laos dudo mucho que alguien conozca a Fernando Alonso y aprecie sus veloces dotes. Ni siquiera los únicos amantes de la velocidad que me encontré durante mi visita al país, entre los que se encontraba el piloto de la foto, el más lento (por problemas de aerodinámica y de adherencia) de los tres que participaban en la prueba, sería capaz de reconocer a quién es el piloto más joven en haber batido todos los records de la categoría reina del motor. Los motivos son obvios, y no necesariamente económicos, ya que en Laos a la gente le importa un bledo la velocidad y sólo entienden la vida a ritmo lento, sin prisas, con tiempo para disfrutar de lo más valioso que posee el ser humano, que no es otra cosa que su propia existencia.

While in Spain today is suffering the auto racing fever, especially in Formula 1, spreading new circuits for both large sports car as for other smaller, in Lao I doubt very much that someone who meet Fernando Alonso would recognize him nor appreciate his fast skills. Not even the only speed lovers I met during my visit to the country, among those was the pilot of the photo, the slowest (due to problems with aerodynamics and bond) from the three participating in the test, would be able to recognize who is the youngest driver to have beaten all records of the most important motorsport competition. The reasons are obvious, and not necessarily economic, since the people in Laos do not care at all about speed and only understand life at a slow pace, without haste, with time to enjoy the most valuable thing that hold the human being, that´s nothing else than its own existence.
