El personaje de la foto no es otro que Samak Sundaravej, el primer ministro tailandés, (y supongo que el primero del mundo entero hasta el día de hoy) inhabilitado de su cargo político por compaginar su verborrea porcina con su afición por los fogones, después de participar en un programa de TV de cocina, "Probando y Protestando", mientras ejercía como jefe del Ejecutivo.

Lo gracioso del tema es que la sede gubernamental aquí en Bangkok lleva invadida literalmente cerca de 2 semanas por manifestantes antigubernamentales que desde hace más de 4 meses han tomado las calles pintándolas de amarillo pidiendo su dimisión, a ritmo de rock y sólo en defensa propia, a palos (de golf). Y por mucho que protestan, no consiguen doblegar la tozudez de este polifacético personaje.

Éste viernes, según los previsto, puede volver a ser reelegido como primer ministro . Lo cual demuestra una vez más que éste país, a nivel político, no hay quien lo digiera. Para entender este berenjenal, visto lo visto, es más que necesario que te den de comer aparte. Con o sin Samak a los fogones.
