Laos es un lugar salvaje por definición. O al menos esa sensación es la que uno siente al sumergirse en su agreste territorio a través de uno de sus vías principales de comunicación: el río Mekong. Casi la mitad de la superficie del país son frondosos bosques, a pesar de estar, según los expertos, en pleno proceso de deforestación. Naturaleza todavía viva, aunque la mano del hombre, una vez más, se empeñe en destruirla.

By definition, Lao is a wild place. Or at least that´s the feeling that I had while I was getting immersed in their rugged territory through one of its main highway: the Mekong River. Nearly half of the country are lush forests, despite being suffering, according to experts, a deforestation process. Nature still alive, although the hand of man, once again, strive to destroy it all.
