Ko Kred

Ko Kred es una isla ubicada en el río Chao Phraya, en la provincia de Nonthamburi, al norte de Bangkok, a la que sólo es posible acceder por barco y para la que en determinadas ocasiones, sobre todo en época de lluvias, una vez en tierra, se recomiende utilizar el flotador. En la isla existen diversas atracciones: hay varios templos, un museo, una aldea de artesanos, una pequeña granja, una tienda de deliciosos postres y un pequeño bar, el Cowboy Country, regentado por un descendiente de la etnia mon, quien es capaz de servir cerveza fría y galletas de frutos secos con la misma amabilidad que acaricia las cuerdas de su guitarra. Hasta su barra se alargó mi inmersión a esta recóndita isla, nunca mejor dicho, ya que durante el tiempo que estuve en Ko Kred la principal atracción, además de su enorme hospitalidad y pasión por la música, fue el agua que cubría hasta las rodillas, ya que debido a las últimas inundaciones, la tierra firme había pasado a ser temporalmente territorio sumergido.

Ko Kred

Ko Kred is an island located in the Chao Phraya River in the Nonthamburi province, northern Bangkok, which is only accessible by boat and that on certain occasions, especially in rainy season, once inland, the float can be recommended. On the island there are several attractions: different temples, a museum, a village of artisans, a small farm, a store of delicious desserts and a small bar, the Cowboy Country, run by a descendant of Mon ethnic, who is capable of serving cold beer and nut cookies with the same kindness that he caresses the strings of his guitar. Until his bar was lengthened my immersion in this hidden island, never better, since during the time I was in Ko Kred the main attraction, in addition to their enormous hospitality and passion for the music, the water was covering up to my knees, since due to the recent floods, the land had become temporarily a submerged territory.
